Recently, I learned that ladder braced 12-strings have a different tone than
x-braced 12-strings. The 12-strings (Fraulini and Hauver) I have heard have been
instruments of rag time music. While I like and admire the music and the players
I am not into rag time.
What, I want to knows is: does anyone play Dylan, Cash, and Hank Williams, etc using Fraulini and Hauver guitars? In other words, is it going to sound silly when I play Dylan's "Sara", "Maggie's Farm", or "Don't Twice, It's Alright" and Johnny Cash's "Folsom Blues" and "I Walk the Line"?
