Does anyone know anything about this model? It has a rosewood back...that's what got my attention. Might be able to get a good price on a used one.

The specs look good on it, BJ. Solid engelmann top, solid rosewood back, scalloped bracing. Yamaha guitars are always worth a look.

Thanks! I'm pretty set mahogany wise. However, i'm still tempted with gas for a rosewood back. Would like a low cost used one, though. My BR-40 is
really good, so I wonder if a 60 to go along as a set would be interesting.
Will keep my eye on the Yamaha. I see it is a distcontinued model here in the US. At the price it might be just right...great sound, yet low cost enough for hard playing and not a big dent in the account... Also, the descriptions I read had the sides as lam and didn't mention the bracing as scalloped. Merry Christmas... BJ/Indiana |
