Ummm, Eric? You live in WISCONSIN, f'gossakes! It's December, it's Madison (on an isthmus between a couple lakes, IIRC.)

Yeah, but keep in mind 8- 12" is considered big up here. This one was BIG!!

Ryan, I lived in the UP of Michigan on and off for 5 years. Dave'll tell you tales about epic 45"/3 day snowstorms he heard about while living in
that state.

Marquette, Houghton, Iron Mountain, Sault St. Marie, Manistique, everyplace you go in the UP in the winter is like driving through a tunnel of snow, piled 10
feet high or more along the plowed roads. Ya, sure, you betcha!
