Posts: 122 (10/30/09 08:30 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Tags : None Does anyone know where I could find the measurements for a Blueridge dread? Particularly the lower bout and depth? Despite the shape being similar to Martins, I know there's still a fair amount of variation between brands. I've been dread shopping and I'm quite tempted to pick up a new BR-40AS, but it would have to be mail order unfortunately.

I'm leaving for the weekend to go play a lot of bluegrass, or I'd go searching for you, but they're on the UBGF, and maybe UMGF somewhere. I remember Dave quoting measurements in a thread as well. I'll see what I can dig up or I'll take a few measurements for you........ I'm sure my BR-60AS would measure the same as a BR-40AS. I'll take some measurements as I can't find that thread. Kind of like finding a needle in a haystack . Or maybe Dave will chime in . Measuring the lower bout of my BR60AS I came up with a lower bout maximum width of 15 - 17/32" (just a hair over 15-1/2") across and a lower bout depth of 4-9/16" (just over 4-1/2").
