Does anyone know why I wouldn't be able to post in the Fro Sale/ Trade forum? Thanks

it probably means you haven't tallied enough posts to post in that section, this is probably a
deterrence to stop folks from joining this forum with only the purpose of selling guitars.......

You should be able to now.
You forget it and I'll forget it, but I'll remember it, and don't you forget it!

My fault... And rlouie is correct... I set that forum to require a minimum of posts and forgot to note it anywhere. :)

It took me by surprise... I used to be active here, then went into lurk mode for several months, and then tried to post and got a "you can't"
message. I wondered if in a drunken rage I had posted and offended someone. LOL.

had that in my first week or 2 on this forum.....

Is there a reason my post count got reset? Maybe when it switched to yuku? Hmmm... as I look back, my older posts are listed as "Unregistered(d)". When I clik on it, it give me
a page that says, "Sorry that user was deleted from our system." It's a little bothersome... but you can run your board any way you like.

HI Ed,
I am sorry for the trouble. I just want to assure you that none of this is intentional. We have an Administration interface where we login and manage things, such as settings and the users. I just looked up your account and here is what I get: Date Joined: 04/08/09 Last Seen: 04/17/09 Total Posts: 16 Kudos: 2 I assume the post count is correct, although I see that it is showing a lower number here. I am not sure why it has changed your Date Joined. Obviously that is incorrect as we have posts from you before this date. I assume it has something to do with migrating your user account from EZboard to Yuku. We have no way to override post counts, join dates or a number of other things. This is a problem with Yuku. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do on our end to fix it. Luckily, this sort of thing does not happen too often and for the most part things run smoothly. Just not with your account. Maybe Yuku programmed in an ANTI-Ed feature. :) Robert |
