Do have an audio of this instrument? Maybe a youtube video or anything? I'd love to hear it.
Sorry, I don't, and have no way to produce one for you.

Waldener wrote: Go to Maury's music website. You can hear clips of the BR-40 and BR-140, since those are the 2 you're interested in contrasting. Dave's and ayone else's are generally going to sound very similar. Actually Dave's would be nicely opened up as compared to a new model.

Dave I am new to this forum. I am interested in your br-140. I am hunting for a good long lasting beginner guitar. I love the look of the 140. Would like to
get some information on it. Thanks for any information.

Just about everything you'd want to know is in this thread. It's an '02 model year, all solid wood per Saga specs, has a custom made, fully
compensated (all 6 strings) bone saddle, and luthier made wider spaced bone nut. There is a platemate in it to protect the bridgeplate, and a strap button
correctly mounted on the heel.. It sounds like a million bucks, and has been very well taken care of. Comes with an older hard case.

Hey Dave! Haven't been on the forum in an age, but came back to shop for a guitar for a student of mine. It's a bit out of a beginners price range, but
somebody is going to get a sweet deal. If I were a right handed man..... I know it's a good un.

Welcome back, Vic! Now, I'm a lefty, so any other lefty who's been farsighted enough to start out playing righty ought not have any problem with
this'n.

Dave,
PM sent.... Was gettin' ready to pull the trigger on a BR-160A. But, this sounds like a pretty damn good deal. Didn't like the sound of the 140 as much as the 160 when I played it in the store. But, with your praise of the tone on this guy...I think I'd be willing to chance it. Plus, the upgrades sound nice too. My contact info is in the PM. -Andy |

OK, this fine guitar has to go, so price at $400 with shipping included, or best offer.

Dave- Can this solid BR help me with my socks? I cannot seem to find- oh, there's one.
Just the fact that you owned it with gentle psychological care counts for, like, a hundred twenty-five bucks.
